2025 is the 40th Anniversary of the twinning of Godalming with Joigny in France.

To celebrate, a series of events have been planned in Godalming for the week of 5th – 12th July.

What’s on in Godalming

 5 July, 7:30pm: Godalming Choral Society, St John’s  Church, Farncombe,

6 July: 

10am-4pm, Food festival, Church or High Street

10am-4pm, Classic Car festival, the Burys Field

2-5pm, Pétanque, Philipps Memorial Park

3-5pm, French “Music in the park” at the Bandstand

5-12 July: French themed shopfronts, French flags on the Pepperpot, signs celebrating our 40th anniversary on each of the 4 twinning signs on the roads leading into Godalming
